    Co. Donegal

Donegal MapCounty Donegal is a largely undiscovered destination in Ireland that has a lot to offer in terms of what landscape photographs it can offer professional photographers and amateurs alike. Photography of Donegal's landscape is very well suited to the black and white Ireland approach that Patrick Donald photographer is well known. Rugged and beautiful landscapes of Ireland are found in this region along the Wild Atlantic Way located in the North West of Ireland. From Malin Head to Donegal town it is the Northern most starting point for anyone deciding to travel along the 2500 km journey of the Wild Atlantic Way.

To note a few of the highlights of our Donegal photography collection, The Slieve League cliffs are spectacular,  found on the Atlantic coast of Donegal they boast some of the highest cliffs on the island of Ireland. They are three times higher than the more famous Cliffs of Moher found in Co. Clare.

Fanad Lighthouse as taken by Patrick Donald fine art photographer depicts how beautiful the scenery in this county can be. Light houses are very much apart of the landscape particlarly along the west coast of Ireland, adding landmarks along the Irish coast that serve to aid boats in the Wild Atlantic ocean as they near port.
