Animals of Ireland
Animals of Ireland
Our sometimes quirky photography collection of Irish Animals of Ireland include scenes of various animals that you will find across Irelands beautiful landscape. From farm animals such as the ever inquisitive cows synonymise in the Irish Landscape to Photographs of Connemara ponies as well as sheep and goats, they make for fun depictions of rural Ireland brought to life with the characters that can be found in these photogenic animals
As Patrick says time spent with animals is time well spent as they have an enate sense of what it is like to be timeless and how we can step out our perception of time into another understanding of it amongst the landscape and this then can give that sense of timeless through sharing the imagery. “It has often crossed my mind that they for the most part seem to have it all worked out as far as solace and being in the moment is concerned”
A certain appreciation takes place when I am photographing for the Irish animals of Ireland photographic collection. You have to allow them be themselves and wait patiently for a certain order and balance to reveal itself as they move amongst the beautiful Irish countryside serving as a perfect place to be amongst the rawness and rugged beauty that Irelands landscape is well known for.. As with any successful photograph and potential trough the viewfinder you must become more the scene and less your man made understanding of yourself. Through this empathy and understanding and oneness with your subject a true and honest picture will reveal itself. It is that process that is one of those win wins of life that certainly seems to play out in my photographic experience. Once the image has been instilled as a frame within the camera then another journey begins. In many ways like a metamorphosis in nature itself, much like the process of realising pictures…. Being present and aware, brings opportunity to express and realising pictures into physical photographic prints to share is what we do as best we can.
