The Open Prints that are available on this website are printed by the Patrick Donald Estate and are produced under the watchful eye of his team in Kilkenny where his studio and framing rooms are located. They are reproductions of his photography available at very reasonable prices due to him not being involved in the the printing and framing of these pieces. They are printed using high quality inkjet technologies which result in clear, well exposed and realistic results that will take pride of place in anyones home or work place. We use only the best pigmented Epson K3 inks on the market and through professional printers we deliver reliable and long lasting results. They are finished by stamping with the Patrick Donald Photography Giclée Series embosser onto the white border of the same paper as the image is printed, the signature is also printed on.
"We take a great deal of pride in every stage of the process in producing all of Patrick's work, and would be very happy to speak with you if you have any questions around availability, shipping, etc.

This durable contemporary finish, mounted under acrylic glass gives a look that brings out maximum clarity and vibrancy in the image. Unlike a normal framing option, it brings the image cleanly to the edge of the perspex glass. The sub-mount framework to the rear is hidden, and keeps the image away from the wall which also adds to its aesthetic. The printed image is enclosed in between a high clarity perspex at the front and a Dibond backing, making it rigid and long lasting.
