Dublin Photography

The Dublin photographs consist of many of the well-known landmarks of Dublin city, from Samuel Beckett Bridge and out as far as the always photogenic Phoenix Park to the West of Dublin, Howth to the North and Dun Laoghaire to the South. Dublin Street Photography has long been a favourite of mine; as I grew up in the city, it became second nature to roam the streets in search of those unusual moments of beauty that reveal themselves. Dublin Pub pictures, which have also been featured in this section for many years now, have a superb atmosphere. Over the past few decades, it has been a time of change for technological advances and the architecture of the city of Dublin, and to document it has been a privilege. Along the quays towards Dublin Bay has been particularly developed and is now very different in its appearance. That sense of history and nostalgia is what the photographs should convey, but alas, I will leave that up to you and would as ever be delighted to hear any feedback about the pictures.
