Can you cater for short turnaround times?
As our shipping is a next-day service, it may well be possible to have a framed picture delivered to your door within three days of ordering if you are based in Ireland, but you will need to contact us before ordering and it will depend on the time of the year and week. The last day of ordering for Christmas is the 22nd of December for Ireland and the 19th of December for the Rest of Europe.
Do we Ship Framed Photography?
Our main business is shipping framed photography all around the world, and this is possible using our clever glass substitute called plexiglass and purpose-made boxes that mean that the pictures are well protected and have a highly successful delivery track record.
What frame options do you offer?
We offer either black or white solid wood frames, so please let us know if you would like a white frame, as presently, it is not showing on the site as an option. Otherwise, we suggest selecting an unframed option that can then be tailored to your specific taste by a local framer when they get it.
What is the difference between the Open Edition Prints and The Limited Edition?
The Limited Edition Prints are all the images in the Master Works portfolios and are images also produced in-house at the Patrick Donald Studio in Kilkenny. They are archival printed onto fine art papers using pigmented inks under the watchful eye of Patrick himself and signed and numbered accordingly, and logged before dispatching. The utmost care is employed to deliver a high-quality long-lasting original.
The Open Edition prints are not numbered, and the estate has the right to produce these at quantities they see fit. They are overseen by the artist and are very much part of the heart and soul of his expression as a fine art photographer.
Can I order a different size than what is on offer?
That may be possible; please contact us directly by emailing gallery@patrickdonald.com to give us some idea of the size you are thinking of; please use your ideal finished frame size with your enquiry or at least know if something is in between the sizes we are offering. That would be preferable.
