Photography of Ireland is not complete without taking a trip to Barley Lake. This is a mountain top lake located about 3 miles west of Glengarriff.  Getting there, take the N71 north from Glengarriff about 1.7km and then make a left onto the road that goes by the Glengarriff Nature Reserve.  Follow the sign posts directing you Barley Lake.  The last 2km of road is very steep and narrow and runs up along the ridge of mountain. Panoramic landscapes of Ireland are a passion of mine.
