At Patrick Donald Gallery, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase of fine art photography. If for any reason you are not satisfied, this policy outlines your rights and obligations regarding returns and refunds.
1. Our 14-Day Return Window
You have 14 days from the date you receive your item to notify us that you wish to return it for a refund.
After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to send the item back to us.
Conditions for return:
Items must be returned in original condition (undamaged, unused, and in original packaging where possible)
Custom or personalized commissions cannot be returned unless faulty
2. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault:
You are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of receiving the item
We will cover the cost of return shipping for faulty items
Contact us immediately with photos of the damage
3. How to Return an Item
Step 1: Email us at gallery@patrickdonald.com with your order number and reason for return.
Step 2: Pack the item securely in its original packaging.

Important: You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty. We strongly recommend using tracked postage. If your return is lost without tracking proof, we may not be able to process your refund.
4. Refunds
Once we receive the returned item:
We will process your refund within 14 days
Refunds are issued to your original payment method
Shipping costs are refunded only if the item was faulty or the entire order is cancelled
Important note on handling: If you handle the item more than necessary (beyond what would be reasonable in a shop), we may deduct an amount from your refund to reflect the loss in value. Simply opening packaging to inspect the artwork is acceptable.
5. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights. Depending on your location, local consumer laws may provide additional protection. This policy is designed to meet or exceed the requirements of Irish, UK, and US consumer regulations.
